Murdoch Marketing is pleased to welcome Sara Bos to our team. Sara graduated from Grand Valley State University with a BBA in Marketing and joins us from Macatawa Bank, where she was a Marketing Promotion Coordinator for several years. An avid runner (usually joined by running partner, Elmer, her yellow lab), Sara enjoys her weekly ration of ice cream from Captain Sundae, and loves spending time with her husband, family and friends. A life long Hollander, Sara enjoys the outdoors, orange poppies (or orange anything) and never wants to lose her childlike curiosity!
Sara took a minute away from her projects to answer some questions for the fans:
How was your first week at Murdoch Marketing?
I’ve had a terrific first week! The Murdoch team has been so welcoming, making it an easy and comfortable transition. The people are great and I’m enjoying all the projects I’ve worked on so far. I love it here already!
What will you be doing here?
Social Media, Project Assistance & Management, Client Services, Press Releases, Assistance with Web, Copy Concept Development, Copy, Content Management, Public Relations, & assisting in anything/everything marketing related I can!
What are you most looking forward to?
While I am able to transfer much of my skill set from bank marketing, I have learned something new and exciting everyday this week and look forward to continuing to learn, grow and have a ball at Murdoch Marketing. Looking forward to getting to know our clients and working more closely with each of them, helping them grow their market share. Social media marketing is one of my passions, and I look foreword to successfully implementing its reach and effectiveness for our clients.
What was your favorite moment at work this week?
My week has been exciting, but one of my favorites was lunch at New Holland Brewery with Tom and Eddie. Loved getting to know each of them better over a casual meal (no beer this time!). Another favorite moment this week was brainstorming for an upcoming campaign and getting the green light on my ideas. It was reassuring to know my work was on the right track. It was fun working through the whole campaign concept development with the team, further learning their individual work styles.
What do you hope to gain from Murdoch Marketing?
I hope to be like a sponge and soak up all the knowledge I’ll learn from the highly skilled, professional and talented Murdoch group, as well as grow our list of top-notch clients. I intend to grow personally, professionally and in all aspects of marketing, with the hope to help with business growth in the future.
